2013 Highlights - All glory to GOD!
A short journey of remembrance and celebration of the year 2013.
The most evident and blessed mark of 2013 for Love Covenant Church has surely been the Presence of the Lord and the Anointing of the Holy Ghost. Exodus 33:16 'Is it not by Your Presence that we are distinguished from all other peoples on the face of the earth?' Love Covenant Church is dedicated to the Holy Spirit and He has been so welcome and so evident, all we can say is ... 'Awesome God!!'
Testimonies of healing, deliverance and salvation have been the rejoicing of our hearts, and the glory and gifts we give back to the Lord. Where would we be if it wasn’t for His tender mercies and His everlasting kindnesses?
The Lord has taken us to new heights in flowing with Him. Learning to hear His beautiful voice and acting on His alive and active Word. We have truly been taken from Glory to Glory!
Love Covenant Church has experienced revelation in terms of the Word of God, acting on the Word, giving the Word FIRST place, loving the Word and understanding that this is a 'miracle Book'. Hallelujah and all glory to God!
We are walking in the Word, believing God, setting our hearts on Him, seeking Him while He may be found, worshipping him in spirit and truth, praying without ceasing, rejoicing evermore, abounding in good works, prospering and being in health as our souls prosper.
We have grown in the grace of God, loving each other, coveting the fruit of the spirit and looking to God, and believing that He is doing the good work in us, building us into the Tabernacle of David. The place He loves to dwell. Our growth also caused us to move to a new building, all glory to His Name.
'He is building HIS Church and the gates of hell will not prevail.'
We have earnestly coveted the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, understanding that Jesus did nothing without the Holy Spirit and much more, much more, we need, love, adore, welcome, honour, worship and desire the precious Holy Spirit. 'Where the Spirit of the Lord is, people are set free.'
We believe with all our hearts and value more than anything in the world, the Lord, His Presence, His Word, His Spirit, His Power, His Son and His glory. The Lord is our heritage, He is our portion, our cup, our inheritance and our great and exceeding reward.
We have had such anointed men and women of God speaking at Love Covenant this year.
Our associate Pastor Ylva Reynolds has brought hope and life to the congregation with her relevant and powerful messages.
Shane Willard brought such insight, challenge and revelation to the Word of God. The teaching gift in the man is phenomenal.
Rodney Lloyd brought a shift in the church with his message on the focus – it’s not about us! Hallelujah, we need to be reminded.
Jay Bezuidenhout spoke on 'girding up the loins of your mind.' WOW, we received revelation of the fact that if our eye is right, our whole body will be. He left and deposit that will not be forgot-ten.
Our darling Pastor Sam has moved in the Spirit, ministered the Word of God by the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit, prayed for people, counselled and loved us, and we are honoured and blessed to have the leadership, experience, gifting, anointing and humility that he carries.
2013 has been a year of favour, glory and the Presence of God. How GREAT IS OUR GOD?
